DC3 Gruesome, F-HVED

WWII veteran The MAB's C-53 rolled off the Douglas assembly line in Santa-Monica, California, in June 1943, crossing the Atlantic immediately to the Mediterranean theatre of operations, where it took part in the airdrops for the men of the 82nd Airborne near Salerno. It landed in Normandy after D-Day in August 1944, then helped supply the 101st Airborne during the Battle of the Bulge.
